Scott has a B.S. in Exercise Science and B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo. He earned his MBA from Ashland University. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, orthopedic program development, home health, and skilled nursing.
As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders, Scott has specialized expertise in home modifications and accessibility solutions to help individuals safely remain in their homes utilizing Universal Design principles.
Scott has served on many collaborative committees between acute care hospital systems and post-acute care providers in preferred provider networks to develop best practices for the transfer of care and care coordination. He is experienced at providing home evaluations as a Physical Therapist for home health patients, patients returning home following discharge from the skilled nursing setting, and currently for total joint replacement patients following same day procedures.
His goal is to help individuals remain in their home by bringing a unique approach to home assessments, recommending commercial products for self-monitoring health & vital signs, home modification products, durable medical equipment, and home gym exercise equipment.
Scott is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), and the Orthopedic Section of the APTA.
